Painting

From a single room to a whole building, inside and out. The preparation decides what you end up seeing.

Painting

Preparation decides the result. We fill, sand and prime before any paint is involved — and we cover your furniture and floors as if they were our own.

In practice, most of the work sits in what you no longer see afterwards. Cracks and holes are opened up and filled, old coats are sanded until they bond, and damp patches are dealt with at the source rather than painted over. The primer only goes on once the surface is flat and dry. We use water-based paint where we can, so you can use the room again the same day.

What we do

  • Interior painting
  • Exterior painting
  • Ceilings and walls
  • Woodwork and joinery
  • Damp-resistant systems
Finished living room with a white-painted TV wall, recess, slatted panel and spots in the dropped ceiling
The same TV wall midway: plasterboard fitted with the recess left open, slatted panel half in place
White-finished attic landing with a new wooden handrail and painted sloped walls
Attic space painted entirely white, with an exposed ridge beam and two roof windows
White-painted staircase seen from below, with a roof window and smooth wall and ceiling finish
White-finished attic room with a roof window and neatly painted beams
Painted attic room with a gable window and two roof windows, ladder against the wall
Before & after

The same job, before and after.

The same wall, a month apart. On the left the timber frame and the bare wall, on the right the finished wall with its recess, slatted panel and lighting. Everything you see on the right starts with the work you see on the left.

The same living-room wall finished: white TV wall with recess, slatted panels and ceiling spots
Living-room wall before finishing: timber frame for the TV wall against a bare, masked wall

What you get.

01

Preparation first

Filling, sanding and priming happen before the first coat. What sits underneath decides what you see.

02

Your interior covered

Furniture, floors and switches go under sheeting and tape before we start.

03

Inside and out

Walls, ceilings, woodwork and joinery — indoors as well as on the outside.

04

Our own fixed team

The same people from the first coat to the handover.

When to call us
  • The paint is flaking or coming away in strips
  • Damp patches or mould on a wall or ceiling
  • Exterior woodwork has greyed or is starting to rot
  • You are moving and want the empty room repainted
  • After building work: holes, cracks and mismatched surfaces
