Roofing
From a single slipped tile to a full roof renovation. We come and look, tell you honestly what is needed, and do no more than that.
We start by looking. Often a leak does not come from the roof surface but from a junction: a chimney, a roof window, a lead flashing or a blocked gutter. In that case we repair that, and nothing more. If the roof genuinely needs renewing, we discuss the build-up beforehand and what it means for the insulation underneath. During the work we cover what stands below and we clear up every day.
Which build-up we use depends on what is already there. On a pitched roof we work with tiles or slates over a sub-roof; on a flat roof with roofing membrane or EPDM, depending on the deck and how often the roof is walked on. Insulation can go in at the same time: between or above the rafters on a pitched roof, above the deck on a flat one. Whatever we find, we show you in photos before we close anything up.
